An introduction to linocut
Monday 8 April 2019
Join Amanda Roche Kelly for an afternoon of creative fun learning the art of linocut.
Linocut is a form of relief printmaking that uses linoleum as the surface into which a design is cut and printed from.
Using the leafy foliage at The Wallflower & Wallace for inspiration, you will draw a design for your print and then transfer it onto the linoleum and cut out the design. Once your artwork has been inked up, you will then print your design onto blank cards, which you can take home and send to those you love!
No previous experience necessary.
